Job summary

Gruma Corporation is seeking a Route Sales Manager to oversee customer management and distributor relationships in the assigned district. The role requires engaging with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales activities, develop accounts, and drive sale targets.

A Bachelor’s degree in business and 2–5 years’ route sales management experience are expected, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Travel up to 50% by auto is required, and candidates must live within the district for commuting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 2–5 years in sales management (DSD/Route Sales) experience.
• Experience in route sales in grocery industry preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willing to travel 50% by auto.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective customer and independent distributor relationships.
• Coordinate sales activities with multiple functions.
• Maintain and develop sales accounts.
• Provide input in the development of sales plans.
• Ensure sales and profit targets are achieved.
• Identify opportunities and corrections by tracking product performance in district.
• Maintain warehouse areas to meet regulatory and AIB standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
