Remote: This position does not require the employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires coverage of territory visits to dealerships with a specific frequency.

The selected candidate will assume territorial responsibility for DMV (DC, Maryland, North VA).

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation benefits.

District Sales Manager - Buick and GMC (Washington, DC)

The District Sales Manager for Buick and GMC is responsible for managing and engaging our Buick dealers within the territory through visits and direct collaboration. This role involves being present at stores, working closely with our products and services, and participating in initiatives such as marketing, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training. The goal is to ensure dealers understand and succeed in selling our products to customers. This role is fast-paced, with each day bringing new challenges. To excel, you should enjoy building relationships, influencing others, and managing your time effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and partners
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships
  • Provide mentorship and consulting to meet sales objectives
  • Monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and address feedback
  • Support product launches, coordinating marketing efforts
  • Oversee dealership personnel training and compliance
  • Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering
  • Analyze sales data, market conditions, and competition to identify opportunities
  • Drive sales of GM vehicles and accessories
  • Resolve customer issues effectively
  • Travel within your designated region to visit dealerships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of automotive industry experience
  • 4+ years in sales and customer service
  • Willingness to travel 100% and relocate within the U.S.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle legally; company vehicle provided after review

Compensation includes a salary range of ($94,800 - $151,400), with potential bonuses based on performance, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, and vehicle discounts.
