Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Phoenix seeks a District Sales Manager to lead the district's sales management team and drive revenue in alignment with company goals.

The role requires up to 75% travel and heavy collaboration with multiple departments to execute strategic sales plans. You will oversee the performance of Metro, Territory, and Key Account Managers, set goals, manage pricing, and ensure successful implementation of district-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer relations abilities.
• Excellent planning skills with ability to translate plans into actions.
• Strong business acumen and market awareness.
• Experience in sales and sales management, especially with large accounts.
• Able to meet performance, productivity and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activities of the Metro Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers and Key Account Managers within the district.
• Oversee hiring, training and termination of sales management and sales personnel within the District.
• Establish performance goals and development plans for all district sales management.
• Collaborate with district managers to set goals and monitor performance.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies within the district.
• Lead execution of strategic sales plans aligned with company initiatives.
• Drive district revenue plans and results.
• Coordinate sales activities with Operations, IT, Call Center, Credit, Training, National Accounts, Marketing and Fleet.
• Manage compensation structures and performance-based pay for district staff.
• Identify growth opportunities in markets and verticals with company initiatives.
