Mitutoyo America Corporation is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to promote our precision measurement products to distributors and end users within an assigned territory.

This role requires developing distributor relationships, prospecting new business, managing target accounts, conducting product demonstrations, and communicating market trends to Mitutoyo teams. A track record of sales success and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Additional specialized training preferred.
• Approximately five years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of success in sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective customer and distributor relationships.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%, including frequent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the assigned territory to support distributors and end users with up to 75% travel.
• Establish and develop distributors for various product groups and assign distributor sales quotas.
• Make sales calls to current and prospective distributors to promote products and review inventories.
• Demonstrate products and provide product instruction within the territory.
• Develop target accounts and identify opportunities for product lines.
• Routinely maintain accurate customer and sales activity information in the CRM system.
