Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a District Sales Manager in the California/Sacramento area to hire and develop a sales team, grow the territory, and drive revenue growth. You will manage customer relationships and plan sales activity to support the company’s growth strategy.

The role carries a salary-plus-bonus structure with comprehensive benefits and the potential to double sales over five years, along with mileage and cell phone reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in hiring, training and/or managing individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Attract Sales Talent: Attract various levels of sales talent to the organization to build a team of successful individuals.
• Develop Sales Associates: Develop sales associates to increase their knowledge, experience, and earnings year after year.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in our training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
