Job summary

White Cap is looking for a District Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across California and support major construction projects. This on-site role focuses on achieving growth, coaching sales teams, and optimizing profitability.

The position requires extensive experience in sales leadership and account management, with collaboration across functions to drive results. Expect about 4+ days weekly with Account Managers and a strong emphasis on accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years industry sales experience.
• 5+ years experience with area customer base.

Responsibilities

• Reviews key sales metrics including growth, category penetration and gross profit.
• Trains and coaches Account Managers in effective selling processes.
• Leads and inspires the sales team to pursue high-potential opportunities.
• Spends at least 4 days a week with Account Managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
