Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a District Sales Manager in California. This on-site leadership role focuses on reviewing sales metrics, guiding Account Managers, and driving profitable growth across market segments. You will train and coach sales staff, build strong customer relationships, and work with cross-functional teams to seize the best opportunities.

Expected pay ranges from $132,700 to $212,300 annually. A company vehicle and MVR check are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• 7+ years experience in sales leadership or management.
• 5+ years experience with area customer base.
• Strong sales management background and recruiting experience.
• Product knowledge and ability to work cross functionally.
• Leadership and coaching experience.
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university and 10+ years industry sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews key sales metrics including sales growth, sales category penetration & safety, and gross profit percentage goal.
• Leads, engages, and inspires team to ensure they are focused on the best opportunities with the highest overall sales potential.
• Spends at least 4 days a week with different Account Managers.
• Trains and provides coaching of Account Managers in effective selling processes and techniques.
• Seeks customer feedback and shares feedback with leadership to improve customer experience.
