Job summary

White Cap is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive sales performance across a geographic district. The role involves leading and coaching a team of Account Managers, reviewing key metrics, and spending substantial time with field staff to maximize growth and profitability.

The position requires a strong background in sales leadership and experience managing area customer bases, with a 10+ year track record and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 10+ years industry sales experience.
• 5+ years experience with area customer base.
• Strong sales management background and recruiting experience.
• Product knowledge and ability to work cross functionally.
• Leadership and coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews key sales metrics including sales growth, sales category penetration & safety, and gross profit percentage goal.
• Leads, engages, and inspires team to focus on opportunities with highest sales potential.
• Spends at least 4 days a week with Account Managers to coach and develop the team.
• Conduces monthly accountability reviews with account managers and staff.
