Job summary

Core Linen Services, based in Manteca, California, seeks a District Route Manager to oversee route delivery and service operations from our Manteca location. This hands-on leadership role manages and supports route drivers while ensuring reliable, high-quality service for our established customer base.

You will build strong customer relationships, oversee route performance, address service needs, and partner with customers on pricing and service solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in route operations, transportation, logistics, customer service, or related field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support route drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and professional service.
• Oversee daily route operations, schedules, coverage, and delivery performance.
• Conduct regular ride-alongs and field observations with drivers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customer service needs and escalations.
• Partner with customers to evaluate service levels, product needs, and pricing.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, route efficiency, and account profitability.
• Monitor route performance, labor utilization, delivery accuracy, and service metrics.
• Collaborate with plant operations and internal teams to meet customer expectations.
• Promote and enforce safety expectations, DOT requirements, vehicle inspection standards.
