Job summary

Sun Communities seeks a District Manager to oversee operations, leasing, and resident relations across several communities. You will lead budget planning, capital improvements, and team development while ensuring compliance with fair housing regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage on-call responsibilities, budgets, and vendor relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's preferred in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business.
• 3 years property management experience with 2 years supervisory experience.
• 6 months sales and leasing experience.
• Knowledge of fair housing and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rent collection for multiple communities; post and deposit income.
• Prepare sites for model homes and move-ins; coordinate leasing.
• Review invoices and monitor expenses; ensure compliance with laws.
• Lead staffing decisions and ensure policy compliance across districts.
• Manage Lease Purchase Program (LPP) and renovations; lease renewals and notices.
