Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a District Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee retail pharmacy operations within an assigned district, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, agreements, and company policies while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across pharmacies in scope.

You will drive profitability and growth through review, analysis, action planning and initiative implementation, control payroll and expenses, and directly supervise Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacy Schedulers and staff

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist licensure in the relevant states or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Willing to obtain Immunization Certification within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee retail pharmacy operations within the assigned district.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, agreements, and company policies while assuring patient-centered care.
• Lead recruitment, development, retention and performance of Pharmacy Managers, Staff Pharmacists, technicians and schedulers.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, cost management and district financials.
• Provide monthly quality and compliance reporting and drive performance improvements.
