Job summary

Walgreens in the United States seeks a district-level Pharmacy Operations Leader to supervise retail pharmacy operations across assigned stores, ensuring patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. You will drive profitability and growth through analytics, action plans, and cost controls, while supervising Pharmacy Managers and staff.

You will partner with executives to develop improvement plans, manage talent pipelines, and coach managers to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited educational institution.
3 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the assigned geography, or willing and able to obtain state licensure within 6 months of position start date.
Willing to obtain Immunization Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

Oversee pharmacy operations within the district to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Review STARS reports and lead quality improvement plans with the team.
Direct STEPS escalation process and advise on clinical matters.
Manage district performance, budgets, and KPIs with leadership to drive growth.
Lead Pharmacy Manager talent strategy including recruitment and development.
