Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover shifts across the district, ensuring safe dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization services. You will travel to CVS stores to support scheduling, oversee pharmacy operations, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager and district leadership.

You must hold an active state Pharmacist License and an active NPI, and be able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and counsel patients to ensure correct usage.
• Immunize patients and support vaccine administration.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and inventory management across stores in the district.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Resolve insurance and medication issues to support patient care.
