Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support store pharmacies across the district. You will assist the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader in daily operations while ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and compassionate patient care.

The role requires an active Pharmacist license in the state and an active NPI, with duties including immunizations, patient counseling, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district as directed.
• Oversee pharmacy operations when acting as proxy to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Immunize patients and support immunization services where permissible.
• Manage inventory and protect cold chain products across stores.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, CVS policies, and privacy rules.
