Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across the district, support pharmacy teams, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and immunization services. You will travel to stores, act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts, and assist with patient care and insurance issues while maintaining compliance with pharmacy laws and CVS policies.

The role requires active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and travel within a reasonable radius; part-time

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district.
• Support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunization delivery.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy and teamwork.
