Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover district-wide pharmacy scheduling and support the pharmacy team across stores. You will ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and counseling while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws.

Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Responsibilities

Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator
Support the Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty
Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safeguarding steps
Provide clinical care such as immunizations where permissible and coach staff accordingly
Help manage pharmacy inventory with focus on cold chain products and compliance with policies
Contribute to patient experiences through empathy, care, and collaboration with the health care team
Maintain required training and stay current with evolving clinical practices
Support access to care and improve patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical services
