Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to travel within the district and cover pharmacist shifts as needed. You will act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices, and coach staff to uphold patient safety and service quality.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, an active NPI, and compliance with all applicable laws. A strong patient-first approach and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Attend and maintain regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Support the pharmacy team in immunizations and clinical services where permissible.
• Assist in inventory management and adhere to safety and quality standards.
