Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to support pharmacy teams across multiple stores. You will help ensure safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while coordinating scheduling and coverage across the district.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and compliance with applicable laws. Strong clinical service orientation and flexibility to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
• Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled.
• Support pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Coach and assist the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate, holistic care.
• Assist in applying and expanding pharmacist clinical services as permissible.
