Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) for part-time shifts in our California stores. You will travel within the district to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, support the pharmacy team, and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts.

Responsibilities include dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and ensuring safe prescription fulfillment while following all laws and CVS policies. Regular attendance and ability to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) is required.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Support immunizations and coaching of Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
• Maintain inventory and protect cold chain products across pharmacies.
• Act as Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts when needed.
• Ensure compliance with CVS Health policies and patient privacy standards.
