Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to travel within the district, oversee pharmacy operations, and support patient care. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and manage workflow with a focus on safety and quality.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential. Active pharmacist license in the state, an NPI, and compliance with regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Assist patients with immunizations and coaching of pharmacy staff to immunize.
• Support inventory management with focus on cold chain protection.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and CVS Health policies.
