Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Travel within district to fill pharmacist shifts; oversee pharmacy as proxy for Pharmacy Manager.
• Support safe prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assume Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by providing empathetic care and resolving insurance or medication issues.
• Deliver immunizations and coach technicians to immunize.
• Assist in inventory management with focus on cold chain products.
• Maintain flexibility for scheduling and business needs while promoting a safe, inclusive team environment.
• Stay current with clinical and technical skills via trainings and CMEs.
• Support access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services where permissible.
• Comply with all applicable laws, CVS policies, and protect patient privacy.
