Job summary

CVS Health, a leader in health care, is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. As a DSP you will travel within the district, supervise pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, counseling and immunizations, and maintain high patient care standards.

This full-time role requires an active Pharmacist license, NPI, and willingness to travel; benefits include medical, dental and vision, paid time off, and bonus

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
