Job summary

CVS Health seeks District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to strengthen pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and deliver compassionate care in every interaction. You will travel within the district to cover pharmacist shifts, supervise the pharmacy team in the manager's absence, counsel patients, immunize where permissible, and uphold inventory and regulatory compliance across stores.

Active Pharmacist License, NPI and DEA considerations are required.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
Provide patient counseling and immunization services where permissible.
Support inventory management and safe cold chain practices.
Maintain compliance with relevant laws, CVS policies, and patient privacy.
