Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, patient care, and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will travel within the district to fill shifts, oversee daily operations, coach staff on immunizations, and uphold CVS safety and quality standards while delivering compassionate care to patients and families

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the pharmacy team.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in stores and act as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Support immunization delivery and patient care as part of clinical services.
• Contribute to safe inventory management and cold chain protection.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state laws and CVS policies.
