Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and model exemplary patient care in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and district leaders.

You’ll travel to stores, oversee pharmacy teams, immunize patients where permissible, and maintain inventory while upholding safety, federal and state laws, and CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled; oversee the pharmacy and serve as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Provide immunizations and contribute to positive patient experiences with compassionate care.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and protect cold chain products; support patient access to care and outcomes.
