Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager. You will help manage the operation of the pharmacy and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient care.

Travel within the district to fill shifts, support inventory, and provide leadership in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by supporting safe and accurate dispensing, counseling and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy as proxy for the Pharmacy Manager.
• Support inventory management and follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure patient safety and service quality.
• Maintain required clinical and technical skills through trainings and CMEs; assist in special services where permissible.
