CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to maintain pharmacy operations and patient care.

You may travel within a reasonable radius, work nights and weekends, and assist with immunizations, counseling, and safe dispensing while upholding CVS policies and patient privacy standards. This part-time role offers benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

Living CVS purpose by ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.
Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and support the Pharmacy Manager.
Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow workflow procedures.
Serve as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts.
Coach the pharmacy team to deliver compassionate patient care and resolve insurance issues.
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy.
Support inventory management with focus on cold chain protection.
Maintain safety and inclusivity in the workplace.
Continuously update clinical and technical skills per CVS trainings.
