Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support multiple stores within a district. You will help manage pharmacy operations, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and assist in patient care through counseling and immunizations where allowed.

The role requires travel across the district, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centric service.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing needs.
• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and oversee pharmacy operations.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Provide immunizations where permissible and coach technicians in immunization delivery.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through compassionate care and teamwork.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adapt to schedule and business needs.
