Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams in daily operations. You will help manage patient care, administer immunizations where permissible, and ensure safe prescription fulfillment.

You will travel between stores, support the Pharmacy Manager, and maintain inventory and cold chain practices while upholding CVS Health policies and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Traveling within the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy team.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager as needed and cover scheduling gaps.
• Provide immunizations and coach Pharmacy Technicians to immunize.
• Maintain cold chain and inventory best practices across pharmacies in the district.
