Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within a district. You will help manage pharmacy operations, assist with safe dispensing, and support immunization services as part of a patient-centered healthcare team.

The role requires travel within the district, flexible scheduling including weekends, and the ability to lead in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district.
• Support management and operation of the pharmacy and team.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and immunization services.
• Accept/handle the Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when on duty as pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Support inventory management and protect cold chain products.
