Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district and support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will travel within the district to fill shifts and ensure safe, accurate dispensing and immunization services.

Applicants must hold an active pharmacist license in the state, an active NPI, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district as directed by leadership.
• Support pharmacy teams and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Assist with immunization delivery and coaching of technicians to immunize.
• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing needs.
