Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support store teams across the district. You will travel to CVS locations, serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during shifts, and help ensure safe dispensing and patient care.

This part-time role requires an active pharmacist license in the state, ability to travel a reasonable radius, and a commitment to immunizations, patient safety, and collaboration with the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and understand patient reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues; active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine prescriptions, days supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions and choose best action.
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, vision, and endurance requirements.
