Job summary

CVS Health is hiring District Support Pharmacists to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district and support pharmacy teams. You will work under the Pharmacy Manager and District Leader to ensure safe dispensing, patient care, and efficient operations in CVS stores.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and absence from the DEA Excluded Parties List. Travel within a reasonable radius is expected, with weekly hours around 40.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist with supervising pharmacy operations and coverage as needed.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures.
• Contribute to patient experiences with compassionate care and teamwork.
• Engage in immunization delivery and support pharmacy technicians to learn immunization.
