Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores within the district, while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and district leadership. You will help deliver safe dispensing, counseling, and immunization services as part of our patient-centered care.

This role requires active pharmacist licensure in the state, an active NPI, and the ability to travel within the district.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state of the store location.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) clearly on file.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district as assigned.
• Support pharmacy teams by overseeing safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide counseling, immunizations, and clinical care as permitted.
• Act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts when needed.
• Assist in inventory management and protect cold chain products.
