Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will travel to fill shifts, serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy, and oversee daily operations with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities include safe dispensing, immunization services, patient counseling, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps within the district.
• Travel within the district to fill shifts and support pharmacy teams.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure safe dispensing and immunization practices.
• Support inventory management including cold chain and shelving needs.
• Provide immunizations and patient counseling to customers.
• Ensure compliance with laws, CVS policies and patient privacy.
