Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to support pharmacy teams across stores in the district. You will cover shifts, supervise and assist the Pharmacy Manager, and ensure safe, compliant dispensing while delivering compassionate patient care.

Travel within the district is required; you will help manage inventory, immunizations, and patient outcomes, maintaining strong teamwork and adherence to CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across the district under the District Performance Coordinator.
• Support pharmacy teams and act as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and protect patient safety with proper dispensing.
• Assist as Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when pharmacist-on-duty is sole/primary.
• Deliver compassionate care and coach staff to ensure positive patient experiences.
• Offer and deliver immunizations where permissible; support technicians to immunize.
