Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) to help cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district. You will support pharmacy teams under the Pharmacy Manager and Rx DL, travel for shifts, and help manage operations with a focus on patient care and safety.

In this role you will ensure safe dispensing, counseling, immunizations, inventory control, and compliance with laws and CVS policies, while remaining flexible to meet district needs and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing.
• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention to prescription details to ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic patient care and teamwork.
• Support immunizations and counseling as permitted.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain familiarity with CVS policies and applicable laws.
