Job summary

FirstKey Homes LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks an Assistant District Operations Director to support the District Operations Director in overseeing the district portfolio. You will monitor, evaluate, and communicate about ongoing activities to ensure residents have a positive experience, assist with rent collection, respond to inquiries, and help resolve service issues.

The role requires 5+ years in property management with Section 8 compliance, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive property management experience with Section 8 compliance.
• 3+ years proven management experience leading teams.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain Real Estate License within 90 days of hire date.
• Preferred: Degree in Business and active real estate license.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with residents and address issues.
• Oversee financial reporting and performance metrics for the market.
• Assist in revenue management related to service, collections, and retention.
• Lead and engage the team; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Drive team engagement through onboarding, training, and development.
• Ensure compliance with municipal, local, and state requirements including Housing Choice Voucher program.
• Maintain an active real estate license as required.
