Job summary

FirstKey Homes is seeking an Assistant District Operations Director to support the District Operations Director in overseeing the district portfolio, focusing on delivering a positive resident experience. You will monitor financial reporting, assist with rent collection, and address inquiries and service issues.

The role requires 5+ years of property management experience, 3+ years of leadership, and an ability to obtain a Real Estate license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive property management experience with Section 8 compliance
• 3+ years of proven management experience leading teams
• Valid Driver’s License
• Intermediate technology skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to obtain Real Estate License within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Support District Operations Director in overseeing the district portfolio
• Monitor, evaluate, and communicate about ongoing operational activities
• Assist in rent collection and addressing resident inquiries and escalations
• Resolve service issues and drive resident satisfaction
• Lead and engage team members, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with municipal, local, and state requirements including Housing Choice Voucher Program
