Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a District Manager to drive operation excellence across daily living, retail pharmacy, home care, clinics, and specialty pharmacy within a district. You will coach Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers, boost customer experience, and ensure resources meet goals.

You will collaborate to optimize merchandising, inventory, and financial performance while delivering consistent brand standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of retail management experience.
High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of retail management experience.
Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state or licensed pharmacist as soon as possible given state law requirements
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
Willingness to travel 85% of the time for business purposes (within district)

Responsibilities

Executes the One Plan strategy, ensuring consistency and excellence of customer experience. Provides coaching and development to Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers.
Supervises assigned stores, visits stores, and leads district execution of front end and pharmacy initiatives.
Drives operational excellence and collaborates with Store Managers and Pharmacy Managers.
Directs Store Managers to improve business performance and supports merchandising and inventory decisions.
Develops local healthcare strategy and improvement plans for underperforming stores in collaboration with leadership.
Manages recruitment and staffing, coaching, and performance of store leaders; ensures payroll controls.
