Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a proactive District Manager (DM) to lead a cross-functional team across multiple accounts within the assigned territory. You will plan and direct operations to meet financial goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong client relationships while supporting communities in a dynamic environment.

You will drive performance with a focus on profitability, safety, engagement, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years progressive experience in multi-unit food service, hospitality management, plant operations management, environmental services, laundry, or other Support Services areas in lieu of degree
• Strong background in leadership with exposure to contract/budget management and client relationships
• Ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and encourages a complementary team of District Managers and Directors of Dining Services to provide outstanding service
• Drives and develops self and team towards building positive relationships with clients and achievement of critical metrics
• Serves on regional leadership teams and shares best practices while championing diversity
• Owns financial results and works with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• Ensures compliance with regional, state, and local policies governing meal and retail programs and QA requirements
• Completes required reports on time and ensures fair administration of policies
