Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over 44 weeks, you gain hands-on experience preparing to oversee multiple ALDI stores and partnering with store managers to deliver exceptional service.

The program covers Northern Ohio in the Hinckley Division, with a starting salary of $95,000 and a $5,000 signing bonus. Annual increases to $110k, $120k, and $130k over the next four years are planned, plus comprehensive benefits and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with direct reports.
• Ability to facilitate group meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal/external parties.
• Interpret and apply ALDI policies and procedures.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate financial performance for decision making.
• Organize, plan and execute activities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management.
• Lead and develop store management team to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve results.
• Recruit, select and staff district locations as needed.
• Provide coaching and feedback to personnel.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Oversee staff scheduling, staffing levels and district staffing.
