Job summary

East Side Enterprises is seeking a District Manager to oversee multiple stores under the direction of the Operations Manager. You will promote company image, drive customer service excellence, and ensure revenue growth across all locations.

Responsibilities include supervising store managers, optimizing staffing, monitoring P&L, and implementing corrective actions. A strong focus on recruiting, training, and maintaining compliance with policy and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent length of experience.
• At least 10 years of progressively more responsible positions in a gas station environment involving convenience stores and car washes.
• Valid driver's license. Experience in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Managers, setting expectations, observing time and resource management; reinforce company policies with regard to employment reviews of staff, compensation requests, write-ups for performance violations and deficiencies.
• Frequent monitoring of the internal and external image of the store, the operations, staffing levels based on customer counts, staff competency and enthusiasm for the job; training and supervising all sites to acceptable standards.
• Understanding all site P&L's and developing plans for improvement; weekly monitoring of labor costs, rosters, scheduling, and hours; ensuring payroll processing and time-tracking accuracy.
• Conducting Manager performance evaluation functions and supervising evaluations for store staff; reinforce company processes for recruiting, hiring, training, and termination.
• Setting regular meetings to introduce new requirements, reports, and responsibilities; ensuring cash management and inventory control meet East Side Enterprises LLC expectations.
• Walk-the-store visits, audits, and other inventory controls; issuing warnings or taking corrective actions as needed.
• Oversight of Training Store in District, guiding manager training efforts; selecting qualified cashiers and providing guidance.
• Performing ad hoc requests for cooperation with inventories, store openings, promotions, and emergencies within districts.
