Public Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead multi-unit operations with a focus on exceptional customer experiences and sales growth. You will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring asset maintenance, safety, and process excellence across units.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, vendor management, and effective communication with staff and customers. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with relocation flexibility and weekday schedule expectations.

Qualifications

• Relocation: future relocation ability is very important for growth.
• Demonstrated leadership in building, developing and retaining high-performing teams in a retail/service industry.
• Proven track record of top tier performance.
• Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Passion for sales and customer service excellence.
• Weekend availability by telephone; 6 work weekends per year during peak season.
• Occasional travel to other markets for support.

• Lead, Manage and Develop People, Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence.
• Lead an Engaged Team: Recruit, motivate and retain a dedicated team of customer facing hourly front-line employees; coach on customer service and sales strategies.
• Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence: Manage assets, vendor relations, maintenance, delinquent tenant processes, audits, safety compliance, and a welcoming environment.
• Grow and Maintain a Robust Business: use analytics to identify trends and develop strategies for opportunities; communicate with customers and teams.
