Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead and develop a high-performing, customer-centric team across multiple sites. You will drive sales, ensure operational excellence, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional experiences while upholding company standards.

You will manage assets, coordinate audits, vendor relationships, and use analytics to identify opportunities, with relocation and occasional travel as part of growth paths. Monday–Friday schedule, nationwide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in building high-performing teams.
• Experience in retail/service/hospitality industries.
• Experience managing audits and payroll budgets.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Willingness to relocate for growth opportunities.
• Occasional travel to other markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop people, acting as Brand Ambassador and driving operational excellence.
• Lead an engaged team: recruit, motivate and retain a customer-facing frontline team; coach on service and sales strategies.
• Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence: manage assets, repairs, vendor management and cleaning standards.
• Oversee delinquent tenant processes and use coaching to reduce delinquencies and improve retention.
• Conduct monthly property audits and ensure safety and operational standards.
• Provide welcoming, well-maintained environments through effective maintenance and vendor management.
• Address customer inquiries promptly in a professional manner.
• Grow and maintain a robust business; use analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and team members.
