Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - FGJ is seeking a District Manager in Wisconsin Rapids to lead a multi-store team, drive sales, ensure client satisfaction, and manage budgeting and operations. You will recruit, train, coach and develop leadership, while maintaining financial targets and compliance across the district.

The role requires a strong leader with proven retail management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or higher.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in retail management.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, staffing, scheduling, store setup and operations; implement marketing initiatives.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company and government standards.
• Build a high-performing team through recruitment, guidance, training and development.
• Develop retention strategies and mentoring for store leadership.
• Coach and mentor district leadership; drive sales and client service.
• Budgeting, forecasting and P&L management; improve profitability and cash control.
• Ensure execution of branding and operational standards; manage schedules and HR issues.
