Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking a District Manager in Training to develop and lead store teams across a defined district. The role trains under the District Sales Manager to drive product sell-through, achieve KPIs, and build strong leadership in store operations.

You will hire, train, and coach Store Managers, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to brand standards while coordinating across channels and districts. This is a field leadership role requiring travel and hands-on coaching.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring strategy and recruitment planning across stores.
• Develop Store Managers in recruiting and training.
• Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new team members.
• Engage team members to create a fun and productive environment.
• Adhere to brand standards and conduct performance evaluations.
• Drive store performance and staff development across the district.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and compliance with policies.
• Travel up to 90% within geographic area and support training across stores.
