Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking a District Manager in Training to lead a small cluster of stores. You will train under the District Sales Manager, drive product sell-through, hire and develop store associates, and ensure exceptional service across the district.

Expect hands-on leadership, coaching, and strong adherence to brand standards. You will manage recruitment, training, and performance management while promoting a selling culture, meeting KPIs, and supporting district growth within a dynamic

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.

Responsibilities

• People & Training Development: Manage hiring strategy, recruit and train Store Managers, onboard new staff, foster a respectful, inclusive team, and support career growth.
• Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service, coach associates on selling techniques, resolve customer feedback, and promote participation in offers.
• Operations: Manage scheduling and payroll, ensure labor compliance, handle disruptions, execute directives from HQ, maintain safety and store facilities.
• Product & Inventory Management: Adhere to brand standards, monitor sell-through and inventory accuracy, manage pricing and markdowns, handle transfers and returns.
