Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a District Manager, Oncology Solid Tumor GU to lead district strategy and execution in the Arizona, New Mexico, and East Texas area. You will supervise Sales Specialists, coach teams, and drive demand generation while maintaining compliance and partner with Medical Affairs and Marketing.

Minimum six years in pharmaceutical sales or related roles, Bachelor’s degree required with MS/MBA/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred.
Six (6) years of relevant sales/commercial experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight/weekend travel.
Must live in the geography or be willing to relocate to the geography.
Experience with coaching, feedback, and development planning.
Experience in Genitourinary, Solid Tumor, or Oncology/Hematology areas.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of district strategy and a coordinated district business plan.
Directly supervise Sales Specialists including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
Provide field-based and virtual coaching to improve selling effectiveness and territory planning.
Drive demand generation and care transitions within local hospitals as applicable.
Maintain expert knowledge of approved clinical information and guidelines for the GU portfolio.
Analyze district performance and partner with cross-functional teams to set priorities and actions.
