Job summary

West Linn-Wilsonville School District 3J District Operations – Tualatin, Oregon, seeks a Maintenance III on a swing shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) for 12 months. The role requires journeyman skills across trades, with licenses in building trades, and involves heavy lifting and detailed maintenance work on district buildings and systems.

The position is full-time in the Classified Bargaining Unit, starting immediately, with benefits including PERS retirement, health coverage, and professional

Qualifications

• One year of journeyman level experience in a skilled trade (plumbing, electrical, or carpentry).
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions with little supervision.
• Experience maintaining preventative maintenance records and using basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair and maintenance work in assigned trades.
• Repair and maintain boilers, furnaces, pumps, valves, and electrical control systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance and materials used; supervise helpers as needed.
